So far I have not had anyone try the simple test that I outlined.
Many have said they do not believe the one hour time period.
I would prefer only those that have actually tried the simple test respond.
When I first received my system I contacted TST about the one hour and they stated it was normal.
And as said the loss of signal alarm is only a short beep when that tire is interrogated. I suspect many have received this short beep and had no idea what it means.
All I am trying to do is determine if the one hour is valid or if my system has a problem so I can go back to TST and request a replacement.
The simple test will require one hour of your time. Have the system active and make sure the battery is charged.
Then turn the power switch on.
Remove the receiver from your vehicle. Take into your home and remove the antenna to insure it can not receive signals from the sensors.
What i did was place the receiver near my computer and watched as I read Forums such as Woodalls open Roads. I did this yesterday and I started receiving the loss of signal beeps in one hour and two minutes.
based on my direct call with them yesterday, I'd not wait for anyone here on the forums to test for you. I'd call them today..
