So Dexter the company that makes the axles is the one who is supposed to be liable.
How so and who says so? The axle is the last piece in the chain for lack of a better way of saying it. Did a Dester supplied spring or equalizer snap or the axle break in half? The hangers are installed by Lippert. Usually the axles are installed by Lippert but typically when thats the case they are Lipperts axles. Out of the apparent 3 entities involved Dexter is the most stand up company of the 3?
I almost omitted Dexter from my post above for the same reasons, but then I thought to include them simply because their is a chance that some component of the axle (hub assembly, brake drum, etc.) might have failed and ultimately contributed to the problem. I'd tend to agree that they're the least of the entities that I'd expect to be at fault, but with the limited information we have, no reason for me to exclude them.
It's the "spaghetti" approach; go after everyone and see what sticks. :B Actually, if Dexter starts feeling the heat, they may tell Prime Time to get this settled as it's not Dexter's fault. :B
