I am watching this thread with interest. I quit using a propane grill for camping, some years ago. I never had a top of line one, but seemed like either I'd run out of fuel, or the wind would blow it out. Reheating did not make a tender meal for sure!
I bought a good electric from CW, that has served me well for a number of years. I have been amazed how good it grills, plus you never run out of fuel, when plugged into the 20 amp, on the pedestal.
I have the quick connect now, and may try the gas again, using a higher quality grill.
