People can do what they want, myself and many others have eyes and a brain and we use them and understand if you look there is no need for a pull test.
After I hookup, I also get out of the truck, lock the handle, hookup the breakaway cable and hook up the power cable. I then check visually to see if the jaws are around the pin before I raise the front legs. No need to do a pull test.
