Pullrite or Demco Superslide for a short bed.

Been using Pullrite for 10 yrs. No problems at all.

I have the Demco hijacker autoslide. Works very well, but very heavy. A plus for the demco is that if you have a standard pinbox (not moryde), then you dont need a capture plate. They have a rail support system on the hitch head.

That said, my next truck will be a long bed for the larger fuel tank, and I'll be going to a B&W just for the simplicity, and reduced weight.

Going into 16th year with 16K Pullrite Superglide.

Great hitch, no regrets.

I do have Demco's Glide Ride pin box. Very happy with it.

I believe that Demco is a new hitch. Seems like the majority of people like Pullrite, but that could also be as they have been around for awhile.

Pullrite for 10 yrs and many many mile with no complaints. Do know anything about Demco

Went with a Pullrite for my F250 sb and has worked just great. Have the notched corners on my new 5th wheel but sure like the confidence in the Pullrite. Little WD-40 on the way tubes and thata all you need!

I did a lot of research first and then got a quote for a Pullrite slider from my dealer. It just seemed a better option overall.

Then found it on CARid.com significantly less expensive. So much less I was concerned there was some kind of mistake. Several hundred miles later I have no complaints at all.

I chose Pullrite over Demco. Very happy with my choice thus far.

You never need a slider, until you do. I figure this is hopefully the only hitch I'll have to ever buy, or at least for a long time. Having the auto-slider is a peace of mind.

One thing the Demco has as an advantage over the Pullrite, in my opinion, is the capture plate. Demco's capture plate is part of the hitch. Pullrite's capture plate you purchase separately, and depending on your pin, you have to purchase a different one.

Demco slide operates with a gear. Pullrite slides and rotates between two way tubes. Don't know about maintenance with Demco, but Pullrite only requires WD-40 spray on the way tubes, and the turntable shaft.

At the end of the day, I think they are both good choices. I just decided to go with the Pullrite and happy with the choice.

I've been using a pull rite for 9 years. No problems in that time.

Just sayin' but If your new 5er has the rounded notched front corners you won't need a slider.
