Pullrite super glide 18K

Ok went to do the PDI today and when it came to hitching up we had a lot of problems trying to do it. It has the multi fit capture plate and Lippert said it is the right one. We had to be dead straight to get it hooked up the book says it could 10 degrees off. Anybody have or had this problem or just any suggestions.

  • We haven't had any problems hooking ours up. It seems to tolerate being off a little bit.

Our issue is finding the right height to unhitch. Latches on good and won't let go if we're a tad too high or a tad too low.

But we keep at it and we're getting better. Just takes some practice.
  • I dont have a problem with how straight it is, I have more of a problem with being off to the left or right. The rig and the FW are straight, it's just that they are not in line. It then wants to pivot the hitch before engaging. You wont get any worse. Don't get frustrated, just take your time and get out and look at it from both sides. I often have the rig too low and need to get out a couple times.
