PullRite Super Rails with Trailer Saver BD3

I just contacted Pull Rite to inquire on which Super Rail kit I needed to install my Hensley BD3 into my 2008 F250. I find two kits listed (0841 and 4426). I believed I needed the 0841 kit.

However, their response is that their rails ONLY work with their hitches. I am now a bit confused. I thought they used a industry "standard" 5th wheel slotted rail system.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
OJ

  • Well, Aaron confirmed they will work! So I went ahead and ordered the 0841 kit as well as the Air Ride load lifter 5000 ultimate with wireless compressor. One step closer.

    Thanks,
  • This is what is confusing. The BD3 and TS3 are similar and use the same mounting system. So they should work. However, when inquiring about which kit I would need, PullRite says they won't work. I suspect their customer service rep either doesn’t know or was trying to steer me towards their hitch.

I did email Aaron but his first reply didn't confirm or deny the BD3 would work with PullRite's Super Rails. I am awaiting a 2nd reply.

I just need to research a bit more I guess.

    Thanks,
    OJ
  • TS3 and Superrails

"PullRite makes bracket and rail systems to fit their 15.5 and 20.5 hitches. We have now made an adapter to fit their rails. They have also developed SuperRails with SuperBrackets that are easily removable from the bed. This solves the age old problem of wanting a clean bed floor. Now you can remove the TS3 and the rails!"

This refers to the TS3. Aaron Grayhek (aaron@hensleymfg.com) at Trailersaver could tell you whether the statement applies to the BD3 as well.
