Not really necessary. If a thief comes by, he would rather smash your window and grab your GPS and maybe an I-pod, I-pad, and off they go. Can stuff this stuff into their pockets, and find many customers to buy it, with little problem.
To steal the SuperGlide they need to unpin everything, and then lift it out, and then load it into a truck. Then the only people that would buy it might be an RV'er. And probably even then, only for about $500 without rails, mount brackets, or capture plate.
Just not a good business deal for the thief. Much better money in Electronics. And much less work and risk.
Bottom line....don't even worry about it.
