Not running a SG hitch, but do have a pullright. If the trailer is not about 1/2" low when hooking it will not latch for me. This is with a properly lubed hitch and gear setup. Any lower and its too rough on the truck and trailer, any higher and it wont grab which is nice since it seems to avoid high hitching even on a standard 5th wheel hitch.
