I've only hitched & unhitch twice so far (so what do I know). First time towed from dealer. The second time I hitched up (practice hookup) I backed within bout 3-4 inches of the pin and made the height adjustments (right at the base of the hitch plate so it tilts the hitch plate) and slide the hitch under the capture plate with just enough force to lock it. Worked like a charm. Gonna practice several more times before our first trip.
