?? Not sure what "slip plate" is, but with the super glide hitch the contact surfaces do not move, and no "lubercant should be used". Any lubercant ing should be done down below where the hitch turns and moves, perhaps also on the jaw mechanism.
I use Slip Plate on mine ( bought from Pullrite ) on the face of my hitch. Although it does not twist and turn it makes it much smoother to back under and pull out from the trailer.
