Thanks for the detailed write-up on your TH. I ordered a 24' TH from Dune Sport last year and took delivery about 2 weeks ago. You have a lot of interesting options I did not even know were available. A winch would have been nice. Mine is also very custom. I wanted the shortest trailer possible that would fit my baja bug or a 4 seat CanAm (dreaming). We picked it up after Christmas and only spent one night outside of Phoenix before heading home. I will post some pics later today. Some options I asked for were:
200ah lithium Amazon battery, located in the front storage area
Solar prewire in 3 places
I made a control panel and sent it to them to install
LED lights inside with a dimmer
LEDs outside, 1000 lumens on the sides, and 2700 lumens in the back
Double bunk happy jack
Inset the bathroom vanity into the nose
The large 12v fridge, which I really like also
We only asked for a stovetop, no oven. Instead I asked for the microwave to be placed under the stovetop. Located in the overhead cabinet was just too tall for my wife.
We wanted a TH that could suit all of our wants. We can use it as a camper, go to the desert with some toys, and I can pull it with my F150. I did not ask for a generator or fueling station. I plan to install 800w of solar on the roof, 200w on a ground mount, with a Victron invertor. I have a small suitcase generator that works well and can supplement the solar.
We have been adding a few details and are getting ready to boondock for a few days in the desert this weekend. We have never owned a travel trailer or you hauler before, so this has been a learning experience. So far, I really like it.
