Yes, my trailer does have a fresh water dump valve. It is a 1” line that goes to both 50g tanks. It hangs lower than I like. I would have preferred a 1/2” line on the side. Our water pump is also noisy. I haven’t figured out if I need to prime it or do something different. The first time we used it we didn’t really notice any noise. Our furnace is also in the bottom cabinets, but we do not have any ducting. We do not have a front bedroom. I think the flexible line might be increasing noise level, I just need to spend some time to investigate.
mine has the same fresh water dump valve. low point drains are the red and blue hot and cold water lines hanging below the floor with shut off valves on them. the purpose of those is so that you can drain the vast majority of the water from the water lines. i usually open a faucet at the highest point to help them drain. still have to drain the water heater separately.
did you opt for the full 3k lb 8' tall ramp gate? i did and it's still steep enough that i winch my sand rail in. that and it's easier/simpler with the winch remote to walk beside it up the ramp.
i was looking at our water pump and i think some dense foam rubber may help. there are quieter models out there as well and may just swap it. it's not the worse but i can hear it while i am in the shower rinsing the shampoo off my head. having said that.....i have not tried it since i installed the winterization kit with shut off valves. the fact that the check valve was allowing water to fill up our fresh water tanks my impact the pump to a point. def never built the psi it should've with that much water bypassing.
nice pictures and i bet that one tows very nice. plenty of room for family of 4 in there especially compared to the genesis supreme overnighter. how much solar do you pan on installing?
how do you like the pass through storage in the nose? we had to sacrifice that to have to bedroom moved forward that 16" so scoot the bathroom and kitchen forward for 14' or true cargo length.
i have been very impressed with 12 volt fridge in ours! night and day difference compared to a standard rv absorption fridge!!
i tried to talk my wife into a single burner 2 volt induction cook top but she refused. we opted for the 2 burner lp with glass lid, flush mount. she now wish's she would've chose the induction cook top.i would've had to purchase and ship them the cook top but they would've installed it. even a 120volt model would've taken up less space. in the 10 years we owned our fifthwheel toyhauler we maybe used the stove top 4 times and that was do to bad weather. https://youtu.be/v5hl5z875Vk
i like the looks of the white units. didnt think i would so i opted for the grey/dark silver metal flake. i do like the way it looks but it does absorb heat as one would think. on a 85* ambient day my ir temp gun showed 120* on the siding that had been in the sun all day. no big deal as we have 2-13500 roof ac units in a 26' box. the rolled insulation kept it from bleeding through as well.
i like the control plate you made.
