so your truck spare will not work as its prob 18" or 20" rim (larger od) and diff offset as well as bolt pattern as you mentioned. i specifically called out 235-85x16's and they messed up and ordered 235-80x16's. only 1" diff so not a huge deal. i sent it in 2 diff emails and we discused it on the phone so i would've thought they would've gotten that one correct. i have always found that when the trailer tires are the same od as the truck and all spin at the same rpm.......they tow better.
years ago i had to blow outs in 7hrs. had 2 spares then , luckily, as a few years before that a friend of mine blew 2 on the way home. his front tire slapped the rear and wiped a chunk out of the edge of it. i am amazed it didnt take a chunk of his floor too. lol
