Purchasing a 5th wheel? Watch video about Grand Design RV

Looks like a great company with good floor plans. I may consider them for our next 5th wheel.

I'm a happy camper. I've had my Grand Design 369RL since March of last year. We just finished a 4300 mile, four week road trip. We have probably over 7,000 miles on it and couldn't be happier with it.

The pricing is very competitive. I'd guess less than ms by quite a bit. My take on GD is they are using industry standard parts (lippert etc) with more stress on build quality and not so much the user pdi as the last leg of assembly. They also stress eye appeal with some excellent interior and exterior design features. What they are doing is what ALL mfg should be doing but for some reason ($$$) cannot.

website and video look good. Wonder how they compare to Mobile Suites? Also wonder about the prices?

Grand Design was started almost 2 years ago by some top executives from Thor/Keystone who wanted to get back to customer satisfaction and quality construction as the number one priorities instead of how many and how fast can we produce RV's. All 3 owners of Grand Design are well respected with over 20 years each in the RV industry. As of now Grand Design has 3 brands. The Solitude, Reflection and Momentum. I have the Momentum which is a luxury Toy Hauler. Every RV I have ever owned, which this is my 6th has always had some major issues upon delivery after PDI. My Momentum only had a couple of minor cosmetic issues that were corrected by my dealer immediately.

Never heard of Grand Design RV...are they new?

I have had the pleasure of meeting and talking to the gentlemen in the video and they were just as nice in person and on the phone as they are in the video. These are not actors in the video. They take there customers recommendations and quality control in build production very seriously. I am a proud owner of a Grand Design Momentum and could not be happier with my decision!!!!!
