Purchasing a Toyhauler

We are currently researching several different brands of 5th wheel toyhaulers and would appreciate any feedback as to preferences and any issues you may have with a particular line. Currrently we are looking seriously at Cyclone, Raptor & Spartan. We want to be able to take our motorcycle with us we enjoy riding and go to several rallys during the year

  • What is your tow vehicle? I bought a new Impact 311 my TV is a 3/4 LML 2013. I'm just at the max with GVRR. The 311 Impact is 36 ft at 11500 lbs pin wight 2700.
  • I own a 2015 Spartan 1032 which I bought new in July 2014. So far it has been a solid and dependable RV in the 2 camping seasons I have used it. Only minor problems that the dealer has taken care of for me. The only negative I can think of is that the manufacturer has been slow to ship in any parts required but they have eventually come in. I think if you are buying new, the key ingredient is a good trustworthy dealer no matter what brand you buy. You get a good floor plan and a lot of bang for your buck with a Spartan.
  • All three will obviously do the job. Lots of different opinions here just like a Chevy, Ford, Ram debate.

If I had to pick of those three, I'd go Raptor, Spartan, Cyclone. Raptors are really good and finding a Keystone dealer is a "dime a dozen" if you need help. I know nothing about a Spartan so I pick them second. I used to own a Cyclone so I placed them last.

If these toy haulers are at different dealers, the dealer which gets the best reviews when you need help would be a huge factor.
  • I apologize for the 3 posts, this is my first time here, so I guess I messed up
