We installed in the vent over the bed. Perfect fit. Our vent was fully ducted to the other air conditioning unit and wired for power. The controls are separate. The cost of wiring to the rear control was prohibitive. We got a Penguin II from Dometic, small and powerful. A little noisy. It is a heavy unit and required a lift to get it in place on the roof. Doing it yourself risks roof damage; which may exceed the cost of a lift!
