Pin weights can vary greatly on the same GVWR 5ers. We had a Jayco 14K GVWR with a 1700 pin due to the heavy rear bunk room running a 2500 and were in RAWR and tire load capacity. We traded for a Blue Ridge 14K GVWR with higher end components and a different layout with a pin of 2900 plus. Scaled it first trip, bought a dually.
The OP may have to go to a TT toy hauler if he doesn't want to up his truck game. The good news is that the OP is aware that weights matter unlike so many others just getting into the RV craze.
