i have a 2013 CCLB SRW 4x4 that i use to tow our Wildcat 337FB. It does a fine job of getting the trailer moving and more importantly, stopping it, engine brake is great! I get around 10.5 MPG towing, i can't complain with that at all. sure there are the recall issues but those were repaired without any cost. I've had to have the 8.4 screen replaced 3 times so i'm not very happy with that, again no cost to me. I change the fuel filters every 12 months and oil every 6 months. Getting ready to put new tires on this fall, otherwise, it's been a really nice truck for us. Now if there was just another 2-3" of headroom in the cab, i'd be much happier. maybe the redesign in 2018 will address that. i may consider an upgrade to the DRW at some point in the future if we decide to go full time otherwise i expect this truck to be with me for a long time.
I am 6' tall and have plenty of headroom. How tall are you? Do you have the sunroof?
no sunroof, i learned my lesson with my 1500. i'm almost 6'6". if the headliner wasn't curved downward, it would help; but then i'd be looking out of the top of the windshield. i'm considering changing over to a class A, there's definitely enough headroom which i'm in the driver's seat!
