Well,
Just got back from a 2400mile trip with our year old '14 3500....first tow. I know, "took ya long enough!", but we are currently without a trailer but got the chance to borrow my brother-in-law's 38 footer.
Gotta say....WOW. Been a gasser guy up til' now, and I was happy with how they towed, but the power is just amazing. Found myself catching up to cars on climbs, and a climb that I used to just 'settle in' and watch my gauges on was over before I knew it :)
Biggest thing that blew my mind was the braking. Put it in Tow/Haul, set engine brake to Auto and be amazed. Kept saying to my wife as we were descending some pretty steep stuff, "I haven't even touched the brake pedal yet." And rarely had to.
Very happy with how it performed.
Mike....smilin' as I think about it
