daynight shades instructions

Go to your RV dealer and buy a restringing kit............Online restringing instructions are available and explained similarly but you will still need the plastic inserts, string, and possibly new springs, to complete the job, all of which come in a kit along with a video that covers restringing all the various types of day/night shades. It takes close to 2 hours for the larger shades but is easy if you follow the directions carefully.

After re-strining 4 different shades in our 2010 Cameo, I have vowed to never again purchase these shades. Next one that breaks (the strings rub against the plastic ferules and shred) and I plan to replace them with regular curtains and /or blinds......
