I have never smelled anything weird and haven't seen any signs of leakage. also the temp sensor is still on my fin inside the fridge in original position I seems. I never knew these things didn't have a compressor. kinda cool how they work. im going to check it out in more detail tomorrow. thx for the help. any more any appreciated a lot. randall
