Vehicles have also had cruise control systems for years, and hydraulic brake master cylinders too. What exactly is your point? I was making the point that FORD's resistor in the heater box has a habit of catching the vehicle on fire. It is a documented problem, though not on the same risk level as their cruise control fire problem.
