We are newbies, just bought a cheap used 5th wheel for cash to practice on. It's old, so we're getting a lot of practice! We were just debating the merits of investing in a "real" RV, a newer used one, but... Old Junkie meets all our needs and it is still in good condition. She's kinda heavy, and she ain't too pretty, but trading feels like an unneccessary vanity. I'd rather spend the money on going places with Junkie and doing things once we get there.
...of course, there's no harm in looking at the fancy new ones, just to admire them. ;)
