We have a big bow window all across the back of our rear kitchen model. We absolutely love the rear kitchen! Of our three fivers, this is the floor plan we love the best. And we have had no issues with breakage and such-however, I do expect this can vary by manufacturer.
Our experience is the same with our Winslow. The rear kitchen is very efficient and having the big rear bay windows in addition is a bonus when I'm washing dishes. No more movement of stuff back there than anywhere else.
