Thing to watch for is...where is the washer/dryer located? And are you limited to a combo all in one unit or stackable, or separate side by side.
The combo washes and dries with two different cycles in the same unit. Takes about 3 hours in total. Many who use this unit have a portable clothesline for drying. Really cuts the cycle time, so more wash can be done. The outside vented unit dries a little faster. Load size is small. Appliance cost about $1200. Installation cost about 300 on a fully prepped trailer. If weight is a concern this is the lightest option.
Stackable (separate washer and dryer) is a bit larger, but still kind of small. A bit more expensive initial purchase. But you can wash in one and dry in the other. Usually the space for them is narrow and tall.
Side by side is the largest capacity for RV's. about 7 lbs max. This option is heaviest. Can wash in washer while drying in dryer. Wash cycle approx 30 min. Dry cycle approx 1 hr. The space for Side By side units needs to be about 60" Wide by 24 deep and 37 High. Top load washer needs to have more vertical clearance. Very few trailers have the space available for the side by side system.
Appliances/accessories cost about $1400 Splendide on sale. And about $300 installation for vent kit, hold down brackets, and washer/dryer, in a fully prepped trailer.
What ever you buy, make sure it has an outside vent system for the dryer.
All are trade off's. All may be dictated by the space available in the trailer.
Just something for you to consider.
