Rear stabilizers stop working

Hello fellow campers I need your help. Our camping season has kicked off and with that was able get our first trip in this weekend. Our camper has the rear stabilizers that will go down / up with the push of a rocker switch located at the rear of the camper. Never had a issue but as I was lowering I paused about halfway down to readjust the blocks that I place under them and when I pushed the rocker button to extend - nothing happened. I tried to retract and nothing happened. Wouldn't work either way. No problem I just lowered them manually but was just wondering what do I need to check. Talked to a friend who said it could be a blown fuse or just a loose wire. Thanks for your help.

    If mine ever quit working I won't be replacing the motor, I'll stick to manual crank and cordless drill. The electric take forever to come down. Another electrical option that is worse than the manual.

    Mine quit working last year.
    Very expensive motor like $300 plus.
    I removed it and now crank manually until I find the motor on sale somewhere.

    Do you have a remote system? If so it has fuses to provide power to the switches also. Had that problem with mine. Remote would work, switch would not. Fuse on mine is located at the remote receiver.

    Same issue several times with a Jayco 321RLTS. Wish I had the standard crank stabilizers. Circuit breaker, blown fuse, bad switch, any of these can cause the issue. On mine I found that one needs to clean and lube the worm gear often, it gets dirty and runs hard as opposed to smooth. Never had an issue with the manual ones.. Fiver came with automatic ones.

    Are you sure that there is no relay in the circuit behind the swithch. Mine has a relay that is problematic and I plan on replacing it soon.

    Motor on mine sheared a key. Expensive to replace so I know jack down manually. Had a switch that quit working. Jiggled the wires and it strated working again but later quit.'

    There was a post on here that an owner found motor full of water and rusted up when he tried to use it for the first time after winter storage,

    Had the same problem. Mine was the motor was loose and not making contact. I tightened the screws and I guess is made ground and has worked since.

    Obviously first is check for a blown fuse. If the fuse is good, time to pull out the trusty VOM and start checking where the loss of power occurs. Check the switch first since it's probably going to be easier to check than the motor wires.
