Reese 30156 Ford prep adapter

I am thinking about buying one of these to use on my 2015 F350 with factory prep. I will be using my current Husky fifth hitch. Can anyone tell me how much this raises the hitch off the bed of the truck? I know aftermarket rails are about an inch high but how much will this raise the hitch in comparison?

Thank you,
Joe

If you have the Ford Prep package then the hitch sits flat on the truck bed. The rails are built in under the bed. Do yourself a favor tho and get a Pullrite or B&W hitch not a Reese.

The OP is not talking about a Reese hitch, just the adapter! Read the message with your BW glasses off!:S

If you could read my tag line you'd notice that I have a Pullrite. Neither one of us can apparently read....

You fan boys never seem to give up, he's asking about the adapter, give him a PM ,and brag that B&W or Pullrite to death, shame on anyone getting anything but those two :S

Yes the 30156 is two inches ,and sits flat on the bed, I"m guessing less then an inch higher then having in the bed conventional rails.

Just curious the Reese 30156 is the adapter I bought for my 2014 Ram, has Ford went to the same pattern in their bed. It doesn't sound right needing that particular adapter frame.

I agree on the Pullrite, or IMO, better B&W, but I think you missed that he wants to use his current hitch, with an adapter for the pucks.

To the OP, I would sell your current hitch, and get the B&W, that fits right in the pucks. It is very adjustable, up/down ahead/back.

I've seen the adapters, and I think it would raise about 2"s.
