Turning angles are also dependent on the height/distance relationship between the rear of the king pin assembly and the side/rear of the bedrails. Even long bed trucks can have their turning radius reduced/limited if the rear portion of the king pin assembly sits too low in relation to the bedrails during a turn.
. . . turning angles are highly dependent on the front cap of the fifth wheel and that varies from brand to brand.

Yes and yes. Worked good with b&w 4" extension. I could turn past 90 on 6.5' Ford bed and avalanche 5th wheel. I can get way past 90 on my long bed with no extension
Thanks very much! What kind of clearance did you have between the bedrails and the bottom of your Avalanche? Were you in the lowest mounting hole on the pin box? Since the 2017 Super Duty has 1" taller bed sides this concerns me - jcainExplorerYes and yes. Worked good with b&w 4" extension. I could turn past 90 on 6.5' Ford bed and avalanche 5th wheel. Thought I had better try over here too but you are right I specifically need info from those with GD Reflections if I can find it. - Second_ChanceExplorer IIYou'll probably get fewer useful answers over here than on the Grand Design site - turning angles are highly dependent on the front cap of the fifth wheel and that varies from brand to brand.
