I'm not sure what the question is since residential type fridges in RVs have been pretty commonplace for years and they are easily powered via inverter when traveling down the road. Heck, if you don't mind losing a couple of degrees you don't even need to use an inverter as most modern residential fridges stay cool for many hours without power.
Sorry to hear about the poor performance of your RV fridge, seems to be a trend with some that are installed in slideouts. We love our Dometic which has performed flawlessly over the last 8 years whether it is 95 or 15 degrees outside, it is not in a slideout. We're thankful that it was installed properly at the factory as this is the major reason why many suffer from lackluster performance.
