I'm 65 and have removed & lifted my Reese 16K hitch several times by hand, in one piece, but my back takes a day to recover so I prefer not to. Since both my summer & winter homebase garages have heavy duty steel beams overhead, I installed 2 ton chain hoists at each and now use those for hitch removal. Even hanging from the chain hoist it takes some effort to get the pins & slots to line up, I can't imagine doing that while its hanging from the 5'er pin, especially with the front end of the 5'er taking up all the working space in the truck bed. But it obviously works for some folks.
