Replace carpet with laminate
We camp in the Florida Keys a lot and have 2 small dogs. Has anyone replaced a lot of their carpet with laminate flooring? The unit is 10 years old and carpet getting rough.

I've done a lot of flooring in my volunteer work and most popular is 100% vinyl click lock planks. Unaffected by moisture and more durable than sheet vinyl. My biggest suggestion is use at least 5mm thick planks for durable lock mechanism. I recently installed Tranquility 5.5mm from Lumber Liquidators in my house, only needs 1/4 inch gap over a 70 ft span. Several places in my kitchen I went with 1/8 inch gap and just filled it with a matching color caulk. In an RV, 1/8 inch would work everywhere with no bulky trim needed.
