Replace carpet with laminate
We camp in the Florida Keys a lot and have 2 small dogs. Has anyone replaced a lot of their carpet with laminate flooring? The unit is 10 years old and carpet getting rough.

We have always had pets with us when we camped. Our Solitude came with laminate floors, carpet in bedroom, and on the main slide. A few years ago we had a class A DP and replaced the carpet there. That was a great choice for us. Two things that really surprised me, first that carpet weighed a ton! I did not actually weigh it but in a 40 foot DP it must have weighed a couple hundred pounds! The laminate weighed 80. Second, I consider ourselves to be "clean" people. we vacuumed and even steam cleaned the carpet. But when it was removed it held a ton of dirt! Putting in laminate would be the right thing to do, IMHO! Good luck.
