Replace converter with 24v PS and Solar Controller

So after upgrading our batteries to 2 GC2 costco's and realizing they need 15.3v to charge and that no converter can do this...

Is there any reason that a 24v 700watt Power supply couldn't feed a tristar TS-45 and use this setup in place of a conventional converter charger?

    OP, could you post a link to the charging instructions for your batteries? That's very interesting if they need 15.3v.

    Has the amps but seems complicated, unless you already have the power supply and TS-45. A smart charger might be cheaper. With that high of voltage for the batteries most be Interstates.
