Replacement chairs/recliners

We had two Lazy Boy recliners in our lake house and both broke down prematurely.

Try a Hancock and Moore, Barcolounger or other really premium recliner. Recliners are certainly not created equal.

You can get any recliner into about any camper if you recline it and turn it on its side.

I ordered my new Grand Design Reflection 323BHS with the SuperSofa option. It's a love seat/recliner with left and right hand wallhugger recliners on each side--12' of heaven facing a 39" HDTV.

Good seating's very important in a camper.

We replaced our rocker/recliners with recliners. They don't rock. We never used the rocking feature, but the chairs would try to rock as the 5er bounced down the road. The new chairs just recline, which is all we want of them. We bought them at an Ashley furniture store after looking for a while. All of the stores had a few examples of non rocking recliners. We just kept looking until we found the ones we liked. Removed the old ones by extending them all the way out in the reclined position, turn them on the side, and they easily went out the door. The new ones came with the back off and went in the door easily. The backs install without tools.

Replaced a sofa/sleeper in a slideout with a Lazy Boy love seat dual recliner...FIT PERFECTLY. As stated, backs come off the Lazy Boy dual recliner...can lay in it when not reclining and we have two recliners in a smaller slide, taking up less room... We also purchased a scissor couch for across the back that gives more room for people to set down in or lay down on and it makes a MUCH more comfortable bed, if needed...Works great for us:).

Lazy Boys are a good choice, had a couple in our old fiver. Could not find any we liked when we upgraded to the current fiver. Found ones we liked at Bradd & Hall in Elkhart.

Best Furnishings. Lookem up online. I think they have better reclining? mechanism than LB. Half the price.

Ours are not Lazy Boys but very close. Bought them at furniture store in the town we were at. Backs come off and were so much lighter and easier to move.

Lazy Boy is probably the way to go. In our last fiver we replaced our two recliners with Lazy Boy leather rocker/recliners. We had to have the same size due to configuration of our slides. They fit perfectly and actually came with the back off.

We bought theatre seating and gained almost 8" in width in the slide...and they are much better than the Lazy Boy******we used to own.

We walked into a Lazy Boy Store.

Told sales person Need 2 recliners for our 5th wheel......she stated 'Yep we have the right size for RVs'

YES they did....27" width measured across arms. Fit exactly where OEM did.
Backs are removable for easy fit thru RV door

Old ones did the same for removal.

New ones....swivel/rocker/recliner and held up great to my abuse.

If you can get the old ones out, the Lazy Boys usually have removable backs and are easy to get in. You can always cut the old ones up to get them out if you're just going to toss them anyway.
