FYI Mike, the connection does have a booster in the wall plate. Frustrating part is there is a separate wall plate labeled "satellite" and I get absolutely nothing from that. I have to connect to the aux. port in the same plate as the roof antenna that has the booster. Obviously some mis-labeling from the factory.

The booster is for use with the roof television antenna. When it is turned off, if you have a park cable connection (not a satellite connection) the television should work with the campground cable system. The plate labeled satellite is the one that you should connect to for use with the disk and receiver. You should have two connections outside. One for campground cable (usually by itself) and another which should be labeled satellite ready or satellite. BTW, you can not split a satellite feed, you have to use a device called a multiswitch.
