UPDATE...
After much testing with my sat.tech friend, he determined that there is more than likely a staple or something causing my signal loss, just as some of you suspected. Besides that, the coax from the outside satellite connector does not run to the correct one inside. Factory screw up as I first suspected. Unfortunately the rig is 2 years old and this is the first time I have tried to use a dish so the fix will more than likely be out of pocket at the dealer. Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions.
