I am thinking of removing the Jackknife couches from the garage and replacing them with two Recliners. Then on the other side putting a larger flatscreen TV. Anybody done anything similar to this? We only haul one bike so will still have plenty of room...

Not a toy hauler, but we did this very thing in a previous trailer. So much more comfortable.

We did the samething with our New unit! worked great and a lot better!

Left the jackknife sofa in, removed 2 swivel rocker bucket chairs, and put a recliner in. Still room for 2 quads. Highly recommend it.

I am also thinking of electric fireplace below the TV. Now wouldn't that be homey...

I also took out the couch and put in two recliners. Much better !!

I went to Costco and took a bunch of measurements of the recliner I mentioned.

The recliner is nice and smaller than the recliner I have at home. I took the measurmeants and found that two would fit in the garage of my toy hauler but they would greatly impact my avaialable space. A great Idea, I will have to stay with the factory setup...

When we traded our old toy hauler in three years ago after finding our present one I noticed a really nice used recliner siting off by itself and made that a condition of sale. The salesman implied it would probably just get tossed anyway. About a year later I realized I had a nice older Lazy boy in my bedroom and it replaced the fixed swivel chair that the TH came with. Much more comfy.
