The specs are what you are looking for. Pricey but I believe it is worth it.

Who makes Interstate Batteries - and other brands
~
Odessy does not make a deep cycle RV battery from what I read on the link. The closest thing I saw was a marine battery, which has a CCC, Cold Cranking rating which means it is not deep cycle. Marine batteries were described to me once as being the worst of two worlds, not really a godd starting battery and not being a deep cycle battery! - ol_Bombero-JCExplorer

~ - dpamExplorerThank you for all the great information. I thought batteries were only good for 5 yrs. I will take the batteries in to get them checked out and then I'll proceed accordingly from there. Hopefully I can get another couple of years out of the batteries. i have always maintained the batteries by adding distilled water and keeping them clean and charged.

I've always like Interstate batteries myself...

I was stuck buying Interstate at our local NAPA at $320 for two 6V. I did not want to wait into Costco opened so I sucked it up!
The interstate I bought were made in Mexico.
I would have preferred to have bought from Costco.
Interstate has been getting poor reviews from people I know that have always liked them.
Ours died in September so they were a bit over 7 years old. - SkiSmuggsExplorer

Currently have 2-6V batteries in our Montana. The batteries are going to be 5 yrs old, so I assume they will require replacement soon. Any recommendations on deep cycle rv battery brands?
Use a Battery Minder when not camping and you could get 8-10 years out of them. - laknoxNomad

Just 'cause they're 5 years old doesn't necessarily mean they need to be replaced. Have you had them load-tested? FWIW, I got my 6v batteries at the local Sam's club. Hard to beat for about $80 each.
Lyle - JframpeyExplorerI bought 2 interstate GC used batteries last year. The Interstate store has numerous industrial customers that replace their batteries after 1 year in their equipment. No complaints yet! And 1/3 the price of new!

We have used OPTIMA for a lot of years and they work for us.

Check them, or have them checked. If they were properly maintained they should give you at least another couple of years service!
You beat me to it.
One of the reasons you bought 6V GC batteries was because they live longer. I would not assume they will be bad at 5yr. Some folks report 10yr out of them.
