lag bolts - are you meaning four
long bolts? Every air conditioner I have seen has been held on by four long bolts that run from the ceiling inside unit up to the air conditioner unit on the roof. This is what compresses the gasket by removing the cover inside and tightening those bolts from the inside. I have never seen lag bolts used to hold one on. They would have to go from the outside ceiling down thru the unit and roof to the inside and then somehow hold on to the inner part of the air conditioner. How does DRV do it? Sounds like they mount from the exterior which is contrary to everyone else.
