dometic penguin II shroud removal

Question

I have a dometic penguin II and need to install a soft start but when I try to unscrew the cover the screw just turns and they don't come out. Is there a tool or something I'm missing? All I can find online is "remove the cover"...

Stripped? Remove with pliers and if not drill and/or use screw extractor.

Yep, likely just stripped.  You can slip something between the screw and the shroud to act as a wedge and turn screw slowly.  The good threads behind the stripped ones should grab and allow you to unscrew.  Google remove stripped screw and you will find lots of other ideas.
