This is sad indeed, and I hated to read it. There is a shining light in knowing that only possessions were lost and everyone is OK.
My family lost everything many years ago in a house fire, so I'm somewhat aware of the pain you're going through. Even though it was just your RV and truck, you surely lost valuable items that meant something to you.
I would be curious to know what the actual cause was, assuming the fire dept looked into it. Diesel isn't particularly as volatile as gasoline, so its certainly a more rare occurrence.
