We saw the aftermath, 24 people drowned in the WV flooding... Couldn't get to our camper in time, was cut off by high waters, flooding roads all around. Was not literally "in it",like you all were... Can't relate to that and hope it becomes a distant memory to you. It was losing everything we had in and around, our soon to be fulltimers unit. Lost somethings that can never be replaced, pictures of family throughout our life, etc... Can't image what you went through and am thankful no one was hurt. It's still scary to us, we keep a vigilant eye on conditions of the river here.
I was relating more to the loss of everything.. Wasn't much we could do... Still recovering from the stroke I had last August and last of this June, early July, it became a bit overwhelming to my wife and I, ( she had just had hip replacement surgery).
I hope all goes well for you and yours here on out and y'all can work through the scary parts of it.
Take care buddy,
Jim
