As a follow up, my roof now looks very much like yours did in the "before" pictures. I am somewhat disappointed in the results. I must say however that our trailer sits outside in the sun for most of the year now and spends 5 months in the hot Florida sun that past couple of years. Our roof now has the cracked, parched look that yours had at the beginning.
Any chance of a few current pics?
I thought Liquid Roof was the top-o-the-line coating? But then again, what is the life of a rubber roof- 10 yrs? You just got an extra 5 yrs, which a recoat of something will likely extend...and WITHOUT ANY LEAKS this whole time :C
I told the Mrs. that for $200 every 5 yrs or so, we'd do the DuckCoat, if that is what we settle one. Maybe later this summer.
Here is what it looks like now. The lighter white color is still the rubber coating and not the original rubber roof. The darker areas look like the Liquid Roof material had bubbled up from the hot sun or something, but they are hard and do not collapse when pushed on. There are no voids in the coverage though.
I went over the whole roof this morning looking for cracks or places where water could enter but found none. It looks like the Liquid Roof coating, while looking like heck, is still doing its job. (Thank goodness!) Guess you could say I have an alligator skin roof! :W
