Running a Geni in the storage compartment?
Being so many 5th wheels come without a Geni, I was wondering if any of you ever installed ( let's say a 3000 Geni ) in the storage compartment & if its a good or bad idea? I figure it wouldn't be ...

Ok to answer a couple of questions. I got the one with two single gang 30 amp vs one 20 and one 30. That way i did not have to worry which leg of my 50 amp plug got the bigger breaker. As for 5.5 vs 6.5 the 5.5 does not need a dedicated tank and I was connectiing to the existing vertical LP tanks. The fire caulk is to prevent any spread of fire due to chimney effect and migration of smells or CO to rest of storage compartment. Also I went with the 5.5 so I could run both AC’s plus microwave.
