Running frig while driving

New to used camper and new to camping. Were getting ready to go to the race at Mich speedway and wanted to know if I would be able to start the frig on LP when we leave the house so when we get there the frig will be cold so we can empty the coolers? It's a Norcold 2 way frig. I didn't get any operational books for anything including the 5th wheel.

    I start the fridge a couple of days ahead of departure and let it get cold, stock it and the LP runs while we're on the road. My fridge hasn't been off since late April when we made our first trip. I'm fortunate in that I can keep the MH at the house and it's plugged in when we're home.

    We cut ours on 2 days or so before we go somewhere that way we can put our stuff in it when we leave the house.
