rust on worm gears track on slide outs
I have 2009 fifth wheel and have noticed that i have alot of rust on teeth of gear and drive gear under our slide outs. What can be done to help and prolong life of these components?

the ones on my 2010 have been like that for a few years.
they have continued to work fine.
