rust on worm gears track on slide outs
I have 2009 fifth wheel and have noticed that i have alot of rust on teeth of gear and drive gear under our slide outs. What can be done to help and prolong life of these components?

You can get "slide out lube" at RV stores. It's a dry film lube that works great and doesn't attract dust. I would imagine you can use any dry film lube you find at someplace like Orially's.
I use it several times a year and especially after a dusty trip. I saturate it enough that it rinses dust and dirt off.
