It is extremely easy. Go to fixmyblinds.com. They have good instructions and a very good video on how to do it. I have done 2 in my RV and it went real well. The website also has the necessary items to fix the blinds. They show you how to determine what size of string you have in your blinds. I ordered the replacement string from them as well as the restringing tool. You will not have any problems doing it.
