I have not used a consignment dealer ..... yet. But plan to when I decide to sell. I prefer to let someone else handle that hassle of advertising, showing, and handling the transfer and money collection.
Research them carefully for reviews and terms and conditions. Some such as PPLmotorhomes charge a flat 10% fee. Some ask you to set a minimum price you will take and they will keep what ever they can get above that. Some have monthly charges for them to keep it. Some don’t. Make sure you are clear on what that dealer charges.
